Ad Hoc at Home is a new fab cookbook by Thomas Keller. Leslie made the brownies which were SO "yummo" (Jill). I gave this book to Annie. She made the grit cakes and said the dish was out of this world. I just got my copy in the mail and am savoring every recipe....The photographs are mouth watering and graphics...so clever. There are also really good tips like how to cut up a chicken. If you love to cook and eat.... this book is a must have!

baby shower

Just found these photographs taken at the most beautiful baby shower my dear friends had for me and Piper back on a glorious Sunday this past September. Everyone baked and cooked and presented the delicious food...Jayne made her decadent teeny cookies & bars and deviled quail eggs. Tracy made enough appetizer foodies to feed an army & she made the prettiest flower arrangements with flowers from her garden. Mae baked the prettiest mini cupcakes. Mama Gina made my fave...spanish tortilla. Georgia made baby shower favors: chocolate covered raisins in baby food jars with sweet labels and painted lids. Gretchen hung flags and created the sweetest invitations. Leslie was the hostess with the mostest with her castle by the pond. She made little cups of cold potato & leek soup and lots of other yummy goodies. It was perfection!
