I have a hankering for an ice cold margarita. This one from the parsley thief sounds divine. Can't have one now....I'll have to wait 4 more months before I even sip one. A virgin margarita just wouldn't be the same.

Don't poo poo Forever 21. I stopped in the newly expanded, 2 floor store at the Stamford Town Center the other day (I know, yuck the mall). I was looking for some inexpensive things to go with my growing belly. I felt so lucky! I found pretty things for not a lot of money. If you want some fun, colorful inexpensive summer pieces....run to the mall! The cute things here are from the website:

At the very end of last summer I found some ancient, beautifully worn leather sandals at my favorite junk shop. They were $7 and fit like a glove. I didn't buy them. It was the end of the season. I was moving on to fall and sweaters. I could kick myself. What was I thinking? Then...a mom from the studio, Cathrin, found these on etsy and shared with me. I am so happy. They look like the ones I passed up! I know I'll live in them this summer. Ready for the price? $47 that includes shipping all the way from Tel Aviv.

I'm so excited! In August, a group of foodies & gardeners and I are going to Queens, NY to experience Outstanding in the Field. You must go to the site to see what this is all about. Here's a bit about this brilliant concept:

I am expecting my second child in the fall.

Timing is everything.

This will be a time to focus on my family and dream up new ideas for the future.
Teaching art to children is a HUGE part of my life.
