I saw these super fun mobiles by Puka Puka on Bloesem kids  The felted ball mobile is my favorite.  All the way from Australia.

Found this photograph today. Children at paper scissors oranges made these self portrait puppets last summer. I just went bananas when I put them all together. Those faces just make me smile.

We started the Early Bird session this week. These are platforms for our papier mache heads. They are so beautiful-the photo does not do justice. Stay tuned for the final outcome....

hot crayon melt

This is an all time favorite project here at the studio. We use old fashioned food warming trays covered with tin foil. The children use peeled crayons and draw on the tin foil. The crayon melts as they draw (fascinating!). We then make a mono-print by taking a piece of paper, placing it on the drawing/tin foil. The children take a roller and roll the back of the paper....WAA LAA a beautiful mono-print worth framing!
