our books for children picks

It is our turn to provide Everett's classroom with library books.  I decided to pick from our library of books for children since we have a huge collection.  Reading books to children was a daily event paper scissors oranges and one of my favorite times at the studio.  I love talking to the children about the many books with AMAZING art and great stories!
Ashley, Everett's teacher, had specific requests:
1. Books must be realistic, for example no talking animals
2. Beautiful illustrations
3.  Seasonal
4. Books appropriate for the different ages in the class  (2 -5ish)

The following books are the ones Everett and I chose.
All are favorites and should be part of your library.
