you don't love me like you used to

The Lone Bellow
caught my ears early this year
thanks to WFUV.
The more I listen,
the more I love.
We saw them live at
Pinkney Park in Rowayton, CT
on Sunday.
More on that magical experience tomorrow.
Here's a taste for you now:

unzipped

I watched this documentary yesterday.
Perfect rainy day entertainment.
It's Isaac Mizrahi
in the thick of creating a show back in 1994 .
Love it.
Love him.
The fashions are all so now.
The colors, the booties, the sequins, the hats....all of it.
The runway hairdoos are so beautiful.
Supermodels deluxe.
I enjoyed looking in the background
at the furniture etc....again...all works today.
Fun music!
Only bad thing is how much
everyone smoked...so glad that's changed.

rufus

Rufus Wainwright singing "Out of the Game"
from his new album of the same title.
Whole album is worth more than one listen.
He and his partner have a new baby daughter, Viva.
Love him.

type bookstore in toronto

Saw this on facebook yesterday.
What visual eye candy!
The creators spent many sleepless nights
moving, stacking, and animating books at
(883 Queen Street West, (416) 366-8973).

Everything you see can be purchased at Type Books.

Grayson Matthews
composed the great music.
