domi best pajamas

Domi from Domi on Vimeo.

This is a great little film made by
a little pajama
maker.
The best pajamas.
Soft yet crisp
cotton.

They just added this sweet little print
to the all white pajama line.
Check it out
here.

dream weekender

Clare Vivier makes bags.
She makes all kinds of gorgeous carry alls.
Clutches, totes, purses to die for
she makes this dreamy
in navy.
I love this.
I would love initials
SMC
Just putting this out there.
You never know.
My wish may come true!
{my birthday is coming up, FYI}

e + p on momfilter today

Pop on over to momfilter today....
The snap of e+p holding hands seen through my rear view mirror
is the remembering photo today!

What an honor...I adore momfilter.
Super inspiring for those with or without children.
(It was recently mentioned on GOOP.)
The site was created by Pilar Guzman + Yolanda Edwards,
founding editors of the sadly defunct COOKIE.
(Pilar is the current editor of Martha's Living Magazine)
How I miss you COOKIE.
Thank you momfilter.

freecycle

Someone told me about
last summer.
It's a site where one can
post something you
would like to get rid of for free.
Something you no longer need.
Something that is in good shape
and working or perhaps not.
Something that someone out there
may be able to fix.
Or you can request a certain something.
SO
I would like to tell you about my recent
very successful
experiences.
OFFER:
Last summer we dug up
a bunch of old bricks that were once
a terrace in our back yard.
The bricks were completely
covered with grass.  Most in perfect shape.
We did not want to bring them to
the dump knowing
someone might put them all to good use.
I posted the lot of bricks on
I quickly got several inquiries.
The person that ended up taking them
was the nicest man who
was building...
a terrace.
He was so grateful
so hence I then felt good
giving someone something for free and not
filling up our local landfill.

 WANTED:
I was looking into
buying Piper a baby swing.
Not an inexpensive purchase I found.
SO
I thought..hey
I will post a
wanted ad
to see if anyone has a swing
hanging around in their garage.
WAa LAH.
Almost instantly I got a response from
a nice someone that lives
five minutes away!
SO great!
Look how happy Piper is swinging in her
new OLD FREE swing.
Priceless and perfect.
There is a
near you.
It's nationwide.
Check it out
if you have
something to give
or something you want or need!

that nie nie

That Nie Nie.  What a pillar of strength.  She is my heroine.  She is also an ENORMOUS inspiration to me and a zillion other readers of her blog  Nie Nie Dialogues...a must see.   Aren't these photos of Stephanie (Nie Nie) and her family just the best?!

papa stour

So Papa Stour is the scottish version of etsy.  Wonderfully simple, handmade goods.  Above are some samples of the things that caught my eye.  Yes there is a currency converter link right there for your perusal.  Check it out here.
