I am crazy about the simplicity of the labels and jars! By the company We Love Jam.
ohhhhh...this is what I wish our garden and walkway would look like. Someday.
The Gardener by Sarah Stewart is one of my all time favorite books for children. I read it to Everett for the first time. He hung on every word. I cried like I do every time I read it. It's a great spring into spring book!
I love the vintage kitchen ware. This is from Design*Sponge: a sneak peek of Lisa Congdon's kitchen.
This whimsically colorful children's room is from a swedish magazine called Skona Hem via a newly found blog called hiccupings.
This is an all time favorite project here at the studio. We use old fashioned food warming trays covered with tin foil. The children use peeled crayons and draw on the tin foil. The crayon melts as they draw (fascinating!). We then make a mono-print by taking a piece of paper, placing it on the drawing/tin foil. The children take a roller and roll the back of the paper....WAA LAA a beautiful mono-print worth framing!

Tomorrow we take Everett to The New Victory Theater in NYC to see La Famiglia Dimitri, an alterna-circus. This is what The New Victory Theater says:
I loved overalls say 15 years ago. I had white ones, oatmeal ones and big denim ones. I have to say I've been seeing them around and I think they're making a comeback. Not sure if I'm ready to sport a pair although they are perfect in every way in the line of work I'm in. Time will tell.
