bookshelf transformatiom

Doing a major spring clean around here.

My amazing friend Rebecca

is a professional whirling magic organizer.

Yesterday, she and I transformed the living bookshelf.

We removed 50% of books, doo-dads,

kids's art supplies, puzzles & toys.

What a difference!

Rebecca's business is called BREATHE.

Perfect name...

that's exactly what she does.

She creates space in your home for air to circulate

hence making it easier to breathe!

Thank you Rebecca!

If you live in Fairfield County, Connecticut

You too can have Rebecca come and transform your home.

Her email is rebeccadruwhite@hotmail.com

PS We organized books by color...that's the trick!

three new favorite books for children

Well of course Oh No, George by Chris Haughton
caught my eye because we have our own

curious + furry friend named Jorge.

The oh so colorful illustrations also grabbed me.

Same creator as Little Owl Lost...another newish fave.

Remember I Want My Hat Back?

Here is Jon Klassen again with another fantastically illustrated book,

Extra Yarn by Mac Barnett.

So sweet.

Creators + knitters young + old will adore this story.

Henri's Walk to Paris was originally printed in 1962.

Lucky for us it's available again 50 years later.

Once again I'm drawn to the colors + graphics this time

by Saul Bass.

This is a witty gem.

See what I mean?

people by blexbolex

We love this new book, PEOPLE by Blexbolex.

It's stunningly illustrated with retro-looking

colorful silkscreened images

of all kinds of people.

immersed in and mesmerized with this book.

It's my go to birthday present these days.

Find it here.

Everett says this story is crazy....

Yeah...

how did he do that?
